Remembrance and Commemoration

CEBA participates in memorial events and ceremonies to honor the victims of the battle.
The association works with veterans and their families to preserve their experiences and stories.

Collaboration and Networking

CEBA collaborates with other historical and military associations, museums, and research institutions both in Luxembourg and internationally. The organization takes part in conferences and symposiums to promote the exchange of knowledge and research findings.

Research and Documentation

CEBA collects and preserves historical documents, photographs, maps, and other artifacts related to the Battle of the Bulge. The association promotes scholarly research on this battle and supports historians and researchers in their work.

Museum

Inaugurated in 1973 and located in the medieval Castle of Clervaux, the Battle of the Bulge tells the storry of the this battle. With many dioramas and a vaste collection of uniforms, weapons, military gear and in particular personnel items this unique place is curated by CEBA.

Sherman Tank

 
This Sherman M4A3 76W, one of only 2 original US tanks that remain in Luxembourg, belonged to  9th AD…  and participated in the fierce combats of December 17th. It was knocked out on December 18th just outside the castle walls. We are proud to present this unique piece of history now once again to the public after restoration.

GI Monument

Since its inception CEBA kept in touch with many veterans and their families who returned to Luxembourg after the war and still do. CEBA initiated and coordinated nearly 100 memorials and monuments across the country of Luxembourg to honor the sacrifices of the greatest generation.
